AMAZING!

I am completely overwhelmed by the positive response to this idea! You all are amazing! The willingness to help, to donate, plus all your great ideas; it makes my heart so happy.

Over the next few weeks, I will be working on ways to:
make a better way to donate/give,
an easier way to share this project with others,
more details on how this will all work,
along with an official launch date.

So if you have ANY ideas, suggestions, or questions, please let me know.

This is all so exciting! Stay tuned!!!!

'til next time, my amazing friends,

WELCOME!

You have no idea how happy I am that you stopped by. For reals. Really happy.

This blog was created to toss out bits of encouragement to the spouses who are faithfully hiking Mt. Medicine alongside their medical student, resident, or fellow. But sometimes during this journey, we find ourselves in the bottom of a valley. It can make us sad. Or lonely. Or mad. And maybe even angry.

How much longer is this? How much more can I handle?

Sometimes you just wish that someone would throw you a frickin' bone already!
Hmm, but I guess if you're in a valley,
throwing you a rope would make a lot more sense.
Oh well. I'm gonna throw bones.

These "bones" that are going to be thrown at you (duck!),
are coming in the form of little goodies.
These "bones" are meant to make you smile, but also to remind you that there are others who have been in the same boat, and maybe even in the same valley. They understand what it's like and know how you feel.
And you know what? Just like they made it to the other side of the mountain, so will you, too!
Just remember...you aren't alone and you are stronger than you think you are!

Hang in there, a bone is coming your way!

Along with these goodies (which will be raffled off - hopefully weekly), we are going to sprinkle words of wisdom, encouragement, humor throughout the week on this blog. If you would like to contribute and share any advice or stories, let me know.

Subscribe by email in the upper right column to stay up to date and know when our first bone will be thrown!

If you'd like donate a "bone" or words of wisdom, click the "be a donor" page to find out more info.

Can't wait to get this party started and to start chuckin' some bones atcha!!!
